Health questions:VERY mysterious question! please help!?

I was with my friends one staurday night, way later in the
evening, say 11:00 pm - 2:00 am, and we were walking on the sand right on the beach. My friend was walking closest to the water, when a HUGE wave swooped in and grabbed her. We were anxiously searching for her for about 10 minutes, when her body floated ashore; eyes closed, and we thought she was dead!!! Me and 2 guy friends grabbed her and layed her on the blanket we had brought along. Her feet were cut up and scaley looking; like slimy blue with sharp edges. She also had a patch of this on her face by her left eye. She finally awoke and realized her new appearance. We were all puzzled as to what the scaley things on her feet and face were, and then we started seeing it spread on her hands. She jumped in the water, and came up about 4 1/2 minutes later. She told me to come over there, because of something we needed to talk about. I looked down at her legs, arm, and face, and it was spreading very quickly, what is it!? help!

I don't understand why you would ask this... it's clearly fictional. However, if you're trying to make a true story a little more exciting and fantastical, there is a medical symptom that does associate with blue and scaly Skin-- a couple, actually. If your friend really DOES have blue scaly rashes, and you're just making it seem like a mermaid story or something, some medical conditions could be dermatomyositis, lichen planus, or some forms of lymph node Cancer.

Don't know what else to say. This is a weird question and I'm not sure what you're expecting from answerers.

the way you're describing it, that sounds like some type of Skin condition. i think whatever was in the water is causing some type of allergic reaction because it doesn't sound like anything else. Why won't she go to the doctor?

maybe she is a mermaid in human disguise so she can find a mate. but since she cant find a mate on land her father the king of the ocean is calling her back to the sea, but she is fighting it and now has no choice but to turn back in to a mermaid.

A MERMAIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD !!!!!! she couldn't resist the water and felt the urge to call the waves onto her and she just had to let go from then on - there was no turning back. she was a mermaid and a mermaid she was.
