Has anyone ever tried this? Do you have to deal with your emotions all at once as there is a lot i need to let go of but i am scared too as i feel as long as i can keep pushing them back down in the end these emotions will disperse themselves but i know deep down thats probably not going to happen.

sounds like CAT or CBT (cognative anyalitical therapy or cognative behavioural therapy) ask your GP, didnt work for me, psychotherapy did/does. Works out for many of my friends though.

If you really want to deal with your emotions effectively, with a professional who knows what they're doing and will help you safely, don't use Thought Field Therapy. Practitioners do not have adequate training - four days apparently qualifies you! I studied for six years to become a psychotherapist, with my own personal therapy throughout that time, and properly supervised work with clients. Thought Field Therapy training demands none of this.

What you're describing in how you push your feelings out and being scared to really be in touch with them suggests you would benefit from some good and coherent therapy or counselling. Any kind of therapy aimed at helping someone regain emotional stability is ok!
All issues have to be faced & dealt with eventually by everyone, it's to do with personal responsibility!
I know nothing about the therapy you mention so can't comment!
