Health questions:Symptoms of Multiple Personality Disorder?

Ok, the obvious things going from Billy to Sybil, I know. But is there a subtle set of things to look for in someone, I seriously have my hands full with my friend right now. His therapist thought he was borderline paranoid schizophrenic, but he literally can change from one "personality" to another in a matter of seconds, facial expressions, tone of voice, everything. What the hell am I supposed to do here, I'm at a total loss.

See section 17, on Dissociative Identity Disorder, (its current name) at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris Ask him who he is, periodically (does this change?) if he has periods of time that he can't account for, hears voices in his head, finds notes written in other people's handwriting, at home (if living alone), has bills for things he doesn't remember buying, or "comes to" somewhere, without knowing how he got there. If so, print, refer, or show him ezy build.

Sometimes a person who has a mood disorder can look as though they are two different individuals. The Personality disorder is a little different, you might ask your friend to sign a release form so that you can discuss his treatment with his physician yourself. Then you can share your concerns with his Dr. However you will need your friend to sign that release form in order for a Dr. to discuss anything about him with you. Good Luck

If your friend will not give you release to discuss his case ...find out what the doctors name is..Get on the telephone and talk to the doctor...Let them know YOU know he is in treatment even though he cannot say..Then tell the doctor how long you have been his friend and what is going on...
EXPECT no comment from the doctor except for HEPA law practices he cannot say even if he is treating the guy..
But at least you can give the doctor something to watch for with his patient...
