Absolutely. On days I work out, I'll drink 4L easily. As long as you drink it paced throughout the day and don't chug it all in one sitting, you'll be fine.

it all depends on how much you weigh, your daily level of activity and the environment that you live in. I live in Vegas and easily drink 2 gallons a day in the summer months, I drink 1/2 gallon alone during my 1.5 hr training sessions.

It depends on your size and activity level. A 200 pound football player will need more water than a 98 pound video game player. Sorry about the stereotypes, but I want it to be obvious. Also with a higher activity level, you will need more electrolytes like those found in sports drinks. Just be careful about the sugar and salt levels. If you're drinking only water and you are in a high activity level, like running a 5k race, you can get what is now being called water poisoning. Otherwise, water is the best thing for you.

Actually it is recommended. It helps with Weight Loss and the more water u drink the more calories u burn.
