Health questions:I have mucus in my throat? Please help because it's driving me crazy!?

This is gross, but i can't get it out of my throat, so if anyone has ANY kind of advice. please write it or if musinex works please write that, because it is making me gag and it's hard to like gross please help!!!!!!!!!!!

you need to try and loosen it up abit. put your head over a bowl of hot water and breath in the steam for 10 minutes (with a towel over your head)

also have a cup of hot tea. you could try musinex. you need to cough it up. do you have the flu or do you suffer Asthma?? if you suffer Asthma you might need to get your medication reviewed or you need to take your medication regulary (not just whenever you feel like needing it)

if symptoms persist over aweek, see your doctor

Doctors,however, advise that unless the mucus is too thick, it could as well be gulped down.No necessity tothrow it out. In fact mucus contains glucose which will be absorped inthe digestive tracks and the residue thrown out by the bowels. The idea of gulping down the mucus somehow appear anathematic to us since we consider it a dirty thing.But,looking tothe circumstances it is better to suppress such misconceptions.

Anti mucolytic like Bisolvon, the active ingredient being bromhexine. Really good at thinning mucus, usually used for chesty coughs but I work in pharmacy and I've had great success with it being used for phlegm and mucus in other parts of the body.
