The main reason she doesn¡¯t want to talk to me is I wanted be more then friends she didn¡¯t and I didn¡¯t let it go.
The problem is that I keep having this dreams, that we are friends again. It¡¯s like more or less a regular day in my life just that we are friends again, like in the past.
I am trying to put it behind me as hard that possible.
But every time I wake up from one of these dreams I can¡¯t stop thinking about it, about her, and how I miss her.
Trying to get her is not possibility¡ she would not. Not yet.
I am lost. How can I get rid of these dreams? They make me feel so miserable.
Easy- don't fall aSleep.
When you dream, your brain sometimes tries to solve problems it has or replays things that have been on our minds a lot.
Have you tried aSking to just be friends? I'd hate to see a girl be so cold-hearted to refuse a simple friendship. If this doesn't work, try finding a new girl to distract you. Or, keep yourself very busy. But solving the problem would be best, as things like this can stay in the back of your mind for a long time.
I'm not sure dreams can be stopped once they start, but if you find the underlying cause, they can be prevented or lessened. Causes could be worry, tension, grief, a medication you're on, illness, or, as above, a medication you've stopped taking.
If you can get rid of whatever has brought the dreams on, then they should be less troublesome. Another way is, again, by dream control. Tell yourself, as you fall aSleep, that you will not dream, or that your dreams will be pleasant and short.
However, far better than trying to stop dreams once they have started, is to take measures to control them before they start.
Here are a few suggestions on preventing or coping with your dreams:
* Reduce the stress in your life.
* Ask your doctor if any of the medication you're on could cause dreaming.
* Have a physical exam to make sure no underlying illness is the cause of the dreams.
* Avoid over stimulating activity before bed, such as violent TV shows or video games.
* Avoid alcohol close to bedtime.
* If you need a bedtime snack, make it something like milk and crackers rather than greasy, overly sweet treats - potato chips, donuts, etc.
* Keep regular hours of Sleep. Go to bed about the same time every night.
* Make sure your bedroom is comfortable - not too hot or too cold. Eliminate noise and excess light.
* Try listening to soft, peaceful music as you fall aSleep.
Good night for now and sweet dreams.
