Tag: Diet & Fitness othersI think this really depends on the person. I get really pumped up by doing spinning or kickboxing, a very high intensity workout for about 45-60mins. For other people, that's just too much and they are really tired after that! Some things you can try are high intensity interval training, low intensity exercise for about 30min, medium intensity for 20-30mins, 5min high intensity bursts (like 5min jumping rope or jumping jacks), or playing sports for 1-2 hrs. Some people even get energized by doing yoga (which puts me to Sleep!)
Exercise is all well and good but Diet is the key to boosted energy levels.
If you exercise often, stock up on complex carbs such as pasta, couscous and bread - they provide long-lasting energy which keeps blood sugar levels constant for hours. Great for the night before a work-out.
It's also important to get lots of iron; iron is needed to transport oxygen around the body and is therefore critical for energy release. Ferrous-state iron is best - get it from lean red meat, liver, kidneys. Stock up on dried fruit and green leafy vegetables too.
Vitamin C is also great for iron absorption. Vitamins such as A, C and E are immune boosters. A good intake will make you feel invigorated!

Its different for everyone... But I think an equal median is Pilates or Bicycling... Most people get energized both both...
